Donating a used car to the Windsor Park LifeCare Trust (WPLCT) enables us to continue to positively impact lives as the funds raised from the sale of a vehicle goes straight to helping cover the costs of delivering the programmes and services of the WPLCT. As the seller, you may also qualify to receive a charitable giving tax rebate for the total amount that the WPLCT sells the car for (subject to the usual IRD conditions), so it's a win-win situation!

HOW IT WORKS

The vehicle owner contacts the Cars for Lives coordinator regarding potential donation of a vehicle.

The vehicle is appraised and valued and the Terms & Conditions are provided to the vehicle owner.

Rectification work (if required) is carried out and a new Warrant of Fitness is issued. Any costs are the responsibility of Cars for Lives.

Promotion and marketing of vehicle.

The vehicle successfully sells and change of ownership completed.

Proceeds of vehicle received by Windsor Park LifeCare Trust.

Donation receipt issued to vehicle seller.
